NOTE: Using our 10MM Rope Laces, you will be required to drill out your existing shoelace holes.
Step 1
UN-LACE
Lace up your shoes as you normally would, in whatever style Unlace your shoes by pulling the laces out of the eyelets, starting from the top.

PUNCH HOLES
Use a leather punch or a similar tool to carefully widen the existing holes.

EXPAND THE HOLES
Use a Dremel tool or a similar device with a sanding attachment to widen the holes and create a smooth, complete circle.

SANDING
Carefully guide the tool around the edges of each hole, applying light pressure to avoid damaging the material. Work slowly to ensure precision and consistency across all holes. This method provides a clean, rounded finish, making it easier to install laces or hardware while maintaining the durability of the shoe.

LACE UP
Feed the rope laces through the widened holes to check that the diameter is correct. The laces should slide through smoothly without resistance, but not be too loose. If needed, adjust the hole size slightly using the tool until the fit is just right. This ensures the laces sit securely and function properly.

If done correctly, you will have successfully installed our rope laces on your shoes.
