HOW TO INSTALL
INSTALLATION
OPERATION
SUGGESTED USE
DragLocks are designed for all LaceLinks bootlaces. Whether you're lacing up work boots, hiking boots, or tactical footwear, DragLocks provide a secure hold that tightens as you move.
We recommend using them exclusively with our bootlace line for the best performance and all-day comfort.
Step 1
SLIDE IT ON
Slide the DragLock onto your laces with the square edge facing toward the toe of the shoe.
step 2
INSERT SLIDER
Flip the lock around and insert the slider, making sure the slot aligns with the raised key on the slider. Push the slider into the lock until it clicks into place.
step 3
POSITION TOP PIECE
Take your two lace ends, once trimmed to your desired length, and insert them into the top of our revised end clip.
step 4
SECURE THE END
Take the bottom of the end clip and press the two pieces together, making sure the latches fully engage.
NOTE: Squeezing hard may be required to fully seat the clips.
step 5
VERIFICATION
Flip the clip around and inspect the latches to ensure they are all fully engaged. If you notice one that isn’t properly seated, squeeze the clip together again and guide the latch into place until it’s fully secured.
step 6
COMPLETION
If you've followed all the steps correctly, your bootlaces are now fully upgraded with our new DragLock system.
Step 1
LOCKED IN PLACE
When tension is applied away from the shoe, the slider will progressively tighten until it clicks into place. This mechanism ensures that the tension you set stays locked in exactly where you want it.
Step 2
RELEASE
To release the tensioner, pull your laces outward and slide the DragLock toward your shoe, disengaging the slider.
